QA Engineer

Job description

Summary: If it comes to testing, you will be the one that keeps an eye on the big picture and the little questions. You know mobile (Android, iOS) and web app testing, and all other things you need to help us fix bugs, release updates, and make our product better!

We are on a mission: One Fit Planet
When the world gets more and more digitised, people are becoming at risk of being physically passive and mentally overloaded. We want to turn the tables and use technology and data to help our members to stay fit. We do this by offering a flexible monthly membership for a rainbow of workouts. From swimming to fitness, from yoga to padel, from boxing to pilates all available at your fingertips with our app. Choosing from over 60 thousand classes every month.

Your job

You are the main player in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. You will execute manual and automated test cases and, like the coach after the game, take a close look at the results to report bugs and errors to the development teams. Your attention to detail helps you to prioritise and coordinate, making sure that we release updates and features faster and better (...and that we have fewer things to fix, of course!).

We work a lot with (restful) API's, regression testing, web apps, integrations with third party software and more!

How you can help us

You are the right fit for OneFit. You see a lot of possibilities, know both Web and App testing (Android, iOS), and take ownership and responsibility. You are literally a problem solver, because you find bugs and tackle basic ones yourself. You know how to set up, update, and execute regression tests and responsive website testing is a piece of cake for you.

For the test cases and analyzing, you know your way around:

  • Jira

  • Confluence

  • Agile / Scrum

  • Cypress or Selenium, Website (JavaScript)

  • Espresso, Android (Java), Appium

What do we offer?

  • Competitive salary

  • Free OneFit membership

  • Company sponsored happy hours

  • Apple equipment

  • Education budget

  • Free lunch

  • Team trips and drinks

  • Flexibility.

What you bring

  • You have at least 3 years of work experience in software quality assurance,  including hands-on experience with automated testing tools (E.g. Selenium, Appium, Jenkins, Cypress etc)

  • You know software QA methodologies, tools and processes like your backyard

  • You write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

  • You are no stranger to SQL and scripting

  • Experience with performance and/or security testing

  • Strong communication skills in English.
